Welcome to Furnace Brook Bloggers! I am Ms. Greene, grade 7 English teacher on the beautiful South Shore in Marshfield, Massachusetts. I am excited to announce our new weblog, Furnace Brook Bloggers. We are all new to blogging, so it will be a learning process itself, but beginning in the fall, 2019, our blog will serve as a place where we can share what we’re doing in the classroom, as well as an authentic publishing site where students can showcase their work, sharing their written voices with other students from across the country, and the world. By documenting student learning and giving and receiving feedback from other students, we hope to provide inspiration, while growing as individual students of reading and writing ourselves. Finally, by creating a safe place to share our ideas and feelings globally, it is my hope we will feel empowered, helping to build confidence in our reading, writing, and in communication skills. And we want to have fun doing it!

Hello Ms.Greene I can’t wait to be part of my own blog. I think that each student having their own personal blog is such a creative and cool idea. And I can’t wait to be part of this.I feel that this year will be a great one and one for the keeps.
